Burnout Is Not a Failure

For many sensitive, responsible women, burnout is not a weakness.

It is the biological wisdom of a nervous system that has been holding too much for too long.

Long-term caregiving, trauma, neurodivergence, chronic stress, and over-functioning change the nervous system and the body.

When burnout arrives, it is not your body betraying you.


It is your body asking for a different way of living.

In this work, we don’t push through burnout.


We listen to it, regulate it, and gently restore the body’s capacity to feel safe again with mind-body therapy.

About Zara

I’m Zara, a neurodivergent counsellor with lived experience of sensitivity, over-functioning, and recovery from self-erasure.

I don’t just understand these patterns clinically —
I have lived them.
